I am looking to sell my iPod Nano. It is the white 4GB version. I have had it since they started selling them, which I think is about 3 months or so. It comes with all the normal stuff. I will also be including an iPod Nano Dock.
The condition is ok, but it does suffer from scratches, as im sure you know about. I have had it since day one, and was unaware it would scratch so easily.
I think $200 would be a fair price. Unless your looking to trade a 5g iPod, I am looking to sell only. If you have any questions feel free. I'll try n post pictures later.
Please post pictures asap as I am interested. Thanks.

Thanks, I was aware of that option.
I realized dashcode needs a serious overhaul, to allow it to become a html css javascript editor.
I wouldn't say it needs a major re-do, it already does syntax highlighting.
Anyways, just start a new project. You can then view, open, and edit the individual files of the project by hitting :apple:3

OK, first things first - the marquee tag is deprecated so there's no guarantee that it will work as expected in future (though it's likely to for backwards compatibility reasons). Is there any other way that you might present this info - an RSS feed perhaps?
By default the marquee takes 100% of the width of the container so in your CSS for the tag put something like:
#myMarquee{
Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla
mark zuckerberg priscilla chan
priscilla chan mark zuckerberg
Zuckerberg Met Priscilla Chan.
Priscilla Chan Mark Zuckerberg
Mark Zuckerberg Priscilla Chan
Http mark-priscilla chan
Social Network. AT HOME:
mark zuckerberg priscilla chan
priscilla chan and mark

Can you tell me if you ended up doing this upgrade, and if so, how it went? What were the Spec code and stepping of the 5160's you used?
I am considering the same 5130 -> 5160 upgrade for my 2006 Xserve, and My only hesitation is due to the comments I've seen about different steppings of the processors; I've seen a few mentions that only G0 steppings will work (SLAG9 Spec code).
The 5160's I'm looking at are B2 stepping (SL9RT Spec code), so I'm not sure if they will work out...
Thanks!

Hi guys,
updated to 10.7 today. first thing i noticed.. while click and dragging a window around, it was lagging compared to SL.
Weird thing to notice first i know.. but it gives me the false impression that my Mac Pro is lagging and can't process the window. Is anyone else noticing this?
Will this get fixed?
Thanks a lot :)

First of all, I'm just going to assume that you're using Mac OS X only, and if you're not, just ignore my post :) .
The first step in repartitioning your drive is backing up all your data that you want, but seeing that you bought a new Mac, that might be nothing...
Second, take your Mac OS X install disk and put it in the computer and boot it up holding down the 'C' key. That will boot your computer from the CD.
As soon as you have control over the computer after bootup, go to the Installer menu (I'm not sure that's the one... it's whatever's between the Apple and Edit, if there's even an edit menu there...) and select "Disk Utility"
When that loads, select the "Partition" tag and then select your drive. It should be pretty apparant how to setup the partitions you want from there. My suggestion is to reserve about 4-5 gigs of the drive for your Mac OS X and some apps, and then you could partition the rest anyway you want. Either by subject, client, product, whatever... I'm not into graphic design so I don't really know...
Anwyays, after you've set that up, click Partition and it'll erase everything and repartition it for you.
Oh, and make sure that your OSX disk is an install disk not an upgrade disk! You won't be able to reinstall OSX after you partition if that's so...
Anyways, hope that helps. I'm sure others have some things to add or change, so listen to them :)

Just a general question but has anyone tested this yet? I know it supposedly works just fine but I was wondering how well the gestures that ARE in the previous trackpads work. For example, using launchpad can you scroll to other pages of apps using two finger scroll? Also what about full screen apps? Can you scroll between apps like a multi-touch trackpad. Thanks in advance.

Should I have restored to factory first? I don't want useless or corrupted files on the phone. Does it matter?

You come from a Windows world so this probably isn't it, but if you double click on the files, do they open immediately with the right application or do they give you a list of apps to choose from. Is there any chance that you've deleted the suffix (.doc) and OSX has forgotten what to do with it?
Also, by generic icon, do you mean the white-file-with-nothing-on-it icon for all the icon-less files?

There's a very interesting write-up about the history of the Apple key here (http://www.roughlydrafted.com/2007/08/11/how-apple-keyboards-lost-a-logo-and-windows-pcs-gained-one/) which explains pretty much everything :)

Thanks, I've just ordered it
Just gotta work out how to clone my old hard drive to it when it arrives so I don't have to faff around re-installing everything
I don't have a SATA caddy so wonder if I can clone my existing drive to an external then clone it back with the new, blank drive installed in the machine...is this do-able?
Yes, that works if the external HDD is using "Mac OS Extended" as format and "GUID" as partition scheme. But USB enclosures for 2.5" S-ATA HDDs can be had for 10 €.

Hi again mates.
Well, i bought finally the 160GB 6th gen classic.
I realised that the volume is frustrating low, compare to my 80GB (probably USA version)
I googled a lot the last 3 days for this issue but it seems to me that at the moment there is no actually solution to remove the volume limit-cap.
I would like you to tell me if someone knows a way to fix it
The 160Gb is late 2009 model
I bought it at a bargain price and i don't really want to sell it and to look for a US version....
thanks!

If you do an erase all on a JB iphone you'd be stuck having to restore.
Did you have any shsh blobs saved and why do you want to stay at 4.0.1 and not the latest 4.3.2? Are you unlocked?

So I bought a MBP at the start of March, and after over a month with it I kind of regret getting it, as I don't need the portability and would much rather have an iMac + iPad combination.
I'm from the UK, so I was wondering if anybody knew if it is possible to return the laptop after the 14 day period. I have heard some people say you can if you pay a 10% restocking fee or something which I don't mind but others have said different. Also, it's not just that I wish I got something else, the MBP (13 inch base model) gets very hot and the fan can be extremely loud/unbearable, especially when watching videos/tv or having more than 3 programmes on, sometimes I have to completely shut it down to stop the noise. Sometimes it's not as loud though. It would be hard to prove this in the Apple store and I would feel like an idiot if it didn't happen, but would Apple allow me to return it for that?
I so badly want an iMac and iPad :( Although the fan problem was bothering me before anyway.

An Apple Store employee just told us that if everyone in front of us bought 2, there would be no iPads left by the time I got into the store. I think they are being a little conservative, but it's still possible that there won't be the exact model wanted when I arrive at my turn. I am in front of the side entrance to banana republic near JC Penny. I am still cautiously optimistic.
