so, I made my app and everything, and it has a few UI buttons with background images, which worked fine when it was on the computer and i was testing in iphone sim.
now, when i test on a real iphone, the buttons just show up as standard UICustomWhiteRect or whatever it is called.
here is the code i use to make them:filepath = [[NSBundle mainBundle]

You could run ScreenRecycler (http://www.screenrecycler.com/ScreenRecycler.html) on it, and use it as a second monitor for your newer computer. (There are other utilities that will do similar, ScreenRecycler is just the only one I have ever used.)
All you need on the iMac G3 is a VNC client. THe 'best' one for use with ScreenRecycler is only available for OS X, but any will work.

Problem has returned ....
I've been experiencing exactly the same problem for a while.
The most irritating thing is that I remember that it used to work fine, with the sharing being on after restarting. Now, despite having the internet sharing check box ticked, any connection without restarting it leads to a timeout.
Ridiculous.
And very annoying.

Is there a way of making the spacebar on a mac act like an enter key? It's anoying always having to press enter. Like on windows if you press space, it acts as an enter key. Anyway around this?

I jailbroke my iPod Touch 4G a few days ago, and I'm trying to sync it with iTunes for the first time since.
When I try to sync, I get a message saying "This computer is no longer authorized for apps that are installed on the iPod "(name)". Would you like to authorize this computer for items purchased from the iTunes Store?" If I click the Authorize button and enter my password, a new box pops up saying "This computer is already authorized." As soon as I click OK on that box, the original box pops back up saying it's not authorized. I have to cancel the sync in order to stop the loop.
I tried to manually deauthorize and reauthorize the computer, but that didn't stop the messages from appearing. I just installed iTunes 10.2, but I've seen on other websites that people had this issue before updating. I'm running 4.2.1 and I jailbroke with greenpois0n rc6.
Any help would be appreciated!

Well the first thing I'd say is, if you value your iPod, keep it away from things that can "squish" it. ;)
That being said, Otterbox is known for it's heavy duty cases. Maybe one of these will help. http://www.otterbox.com/apple-ipod-cases/apple-ipod-cases,default,sc.html
Also since you don't want a cover, this might be a bit over kill but still useful:

Go to the accounts preference panel. Select the user your want to edit and select edit. You will need to enter your password in the 'current password' field to unlock the other greyed out fields.
If you are editing the administrator account, you probably won't be able to change your short name. I'm not sure what you can do here, possibly create another administrator account and delete your old incorrect account. (AFTER copying all your user files and preferences to a backup disk).
If that doesn't work, reinstall your system and build everything from scratch.
There may be a way to edit your info in Net-Info database, but I wouldn't know how to do that.

Why do you have to be registered to download the program? I think it's kind of annoying. Is there any particular reason that you did this?
