Yeah those are definitely really nice monitors. However, a little more than I was looking to spend. I am considering this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009261&Tpk=S211HLbd)

Is it US only for now? I can't find it in iTunes. Am I doing something wrong?

Totally damn cool! I lost count at seven though. :o :D
Maybe use a white background considering these are getting judged against white AFAIK, rather than the grey of the forum side panel. I don't know if you're allowed to upload two...I've considered both white (or rather fafafa) and the light gray of the side panel, but went with the narrow frame instead. Still haven't given up completely up on the on the transparancy, though... there might be a M 2 entry sooner or later... ;)

Take a look at SMB (Samba) file sharing - without that enabled through Server Admin, your PCs will be unable to connect to shares.
Within Server Admin's SMB area you can also configure an OD server as a PDC (Primary Domain Controller) - making it pretend it's a Windows Server and allowing you to bind Windows installs to a domain. Note: Windows 7 will not work with this.

Here's my suggestion -
Riser A
DIMM 1: 4GB
DIMM 2: 2GB
DIMM 3: 1GB
DIMM 4:
RISER B:
DIMM 1: 4GB
DIMM 2: 2GB
DIMM 3: 1GB
DIMM 4:
You can't do that as they have to be installed in pairs.
The optimum configuration is A:4,4,0,0 B:2,2,1,1 as this places more equal amounts of memory on each riser.

This one gets my vote, hands down. Typeface exempt, it looks like an Apple ad.

Has it actually been confirmed yet? I have both systems so I do not care if it does not come to the PS3 but I think that it may. I'll be getting it on 360 though as it is the platform it was developed on.

Adobe Illustrator is useless for this. Adobe ImageReady does the job.
Remove some frames and you get this :D

Perhaps the best approach would be to use the Tiger badge for now, and as the Guides evolve, to produce an icon for all iterants of OS X. The "TigerTip" could then expand to say "This article applies to [Tiger logo] [Leopard logo]" or "This article applies to [Panther]."

I bought a new airport extreme. The plan is - I want to use the airport extremem base stateion to create a wired gigabit network for the computers in my office. Now here is the thing. I do not want this network to connect to the internet. I want to be able to connect to a wireless network through airport that has nothing to do with the base station.
Is there a way to do this?
So to sum it up. Netowrk 2 macs with the extreme base station while using airport to connect to a public wifi connection.

Yeah, dislocated shoulder is no fun at all. I popped mine out skiing about 15 years ago and it will still pop out every once in a while. You should definitely visit the doctor. Keep us posted.

You need to get the MPEG2 update for QT 6.3 if you haven't already got it, the MPEG2 componant for 6.2 doesn't work with 6.3, run Software update.
Assuming you haven't already done that of course:D

Hi,
We did the reset SMC but it didn't work, the Macbook still loses power when it's not plugged in, is there anything else we could try or is it a new battery it needs?

That worked. Seems like the same thing I posted earlier:
vnode_validate_compressed_file_type4 error: -1
Also:
Disk0s2: I/O error.
There is a ton of text here. Not sure what all you need to see...

yea unfortunately they dont make docks for the air as there are ports on both sides you have usb power and headphone on one side and the display and other usb on the other. the docks work for mbp's as all ports are on the one side.
+1 for the book arc it is great coupled with a nice monitor and wireless keyboard and mouse your all set.

Thanks for the reply and picture. I was able to remove the sidebar, I am referring to the grey border surrounding your red image. I want the window to be no bigger than the document basically.
Do you mean the Sidebar?

Bootcamp drivers aren't meant to be installed inside a virtual machine because you're not running on a Mac; you're running on a generic PC. You can connect various USB devices to the virtual machine manually, but otherwise, the drivers shouldn't be installed anyway.

Brilliant? It's definitely neat, but not brilliant (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/brilliant).
Can we agree on "shiny" then? But I agree, it's a nice gimmick, but at least they put something inside for the geeks from time to time.

Airport Extreme. Doesn't come with a disk. Supports HFS+. Unlike the Time Capsule, you can connect your hard drive to a Mac via USB.
Seriously, though, HFS+ is a hack, and Apple knows it. It was introduced in Mac OS 8.1, and it was never intended to be used for as long as it has been. Why do you think they tried to put UFS in 10.0 and ZFS into Leopard? From what I've read, ZFS would be a much better file system to be interested in.

This makes me sad. I used to go to UTSA and I could go to the Apple Store whenever I wanted because I was so damn nearby. How people long is the line now?

Hey guys,
Sorry for such a basic question but I'm kind of in a pinch and been looking pretty much everywhere and can't find anything. I've been using a lot of notepad++ on the Windows side for programming basic web stuff in class, and I really like how easy it is to use and how it poitns out where there are errors in your code, I was wondering if there is something similar to that for OSX. I've tried BBedit but I wasn't too pleased with its in ability to save as .php

I bought something very similar to that. The design is the same but the holes are a little different. The bottom is one large hole, which is good since the USB cable can be plugged. I have a case like the one you linked nad it's a little difficult. Also the one you linked is from Hong Kong so it's a mighty long wait :/
