I'm working on a redesign (and refocus) of my website. It used to be a blog that sold handmade t-shirts and I'm switching it to a shirt store that has a blog attached.
Here are the two templates, one of the main page, and one of an individual shirt. I've used css a couple times before for layout, and am using it for this. I want this site to be written as efficiently as possible, keeping the design in mind. So any suggestions on how to do anything better would be appreciated. I know that I can use the same style sheet file for both, and plan too, I just haven't gotten around to it. I also plan to redo the header (which I did with photoshop and imageready) as explained in another thread.
Everything looks fine in Safari, Firefox (mac and pc), and Netscape, but I'm having trouble with IE for windows on the product page. The picture box is in the wrong position.

Hello, I'm new to this jail-breaking biz. I own an iPod Touch 2nd Gen and just jailbroke it today with Greenpois0n. It worked. Before all this, I was looking for some inspiration for the look of my iPod theme. I decided on, simple.
I found my inspiration.

Image (http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm156/05g356mt/IMG_0477.png)
I already got Prestige SD for my icons and Iconoclasm to form them.
However, now I'm looking for:
-The lockscreen and how to modify it to Vancouver settings.
-How to hide labels on Apps
-Font
-Background
-The signal bar and battery life bar
-How to hide "Enter passcode" letters
Thanks for reading, and I would truly appreciate if you could help me find the answers to the questions above.
You can hide the icon labels through Winterboard, which I am assuming you have. I think you can also choose to hide the unlock letters in WB as well.
I would also like to know the lockscreen theme.
I found my inspiration.

I have a 2008 MacBook that I want to sell possibly to a friend (and if that falls through, eBay). I reinstalled using the disk but then it wants me to create a user account and register which I don't want to do. The only reason I didn't just stop after reinstall is that I want to put back photoshop and Aperture on there for this person. I won't be using them anymore so I don't mind giving it to them. Is there a way to bypass the new user account and just put these programs on? Or can I just create a generic username for now? They can change this info and password later? The only thing I saw was that they can not change the folder name so I just put MyMac on there. If I just do the reinstall and quit before the create a new user page, can the buyer download the programs I've already purchased and supply them with the registration codes?? I don't have the disks because I downloaded the programs.
Thanks for any help from a very unknowledgable Mac user!!

I would guess its the same reason that rich white guys still think its cool to add "izzle" to the end of words...Social quirks.

I'm noticing the same thing - jerky animation, delays with typing. No new packages from the ones I had with all previous 4.x.x. Strange.

Hi,
We did the reset SMC but it didn't work, the Macbook still loses power when it's not plugged in, is there anything else we could try or is it a new battery it needs?

IF you ever think about parting the system and games out, I might be interested in the snow boarding game depending on the price.
PM me if you ever consider it.
Thanks!
Rob
Alright, well I'll wait a while on the package and if nothing happpens or if everyone wants an individual thing, I'll consider it.

iOS 4.3.3 is better than 4.3.2 for me in regards to battery life. I've even re-JB my iP4, and the battery life has remained pretty decent so far...
Thanks for the report. I've been having amazing battery life after upgrading from 4.2.1 to 4.3.2 and setting up as a new phone. Since I'm jailbroken and very happy with it, though, I suppose I'll keep with this and continue seeing how others are reporting iOS 4.3.3 battery performance.

I would keep the mini and save some cash and with the rebate purchase a new nano; for the mini in time to come say 10 years or more will become an "antique" :rolleyes:
Hopefully the Mac mini that I'm interested in will still be running in 10 years. Since I missed out on the Cube, don't want to miss out on the mini.

Ive been doing similar research in to this,
TRIM is basically clearing a block of information properly, which your OS doesnt do, it just deletes it from your window and allocates the block to be written over. But when this happens on an ssd it means that it takes one cycle to delete the information properly, and one cycle to write what it wants in there.
Massively affecting the speed of the unit.
And all TRIM does is make sure the block is properly empty when it should be.
It is looking like Lion is going to have TRIM support anyway, just it 'may' only be for apple ssd's but there is always a work around, even now you can get a TRIM enabler on this forum.
Plus if its just gonna be a pure boot up drive like mine, and user folder is on mechanical drives, its not really gonna be rewriting anyway, just write once and then a whole load of reading. :)
And from what i can see the ssd is an amazing upgrade, you've only got to search youtube for "mac ssd bootup" and you'll see all sorts geeks showing off there new ssd speeds. lol.
Anyway. hope that helps.

I'm trying to implement an in-app purchase that unlocks a non-consumable file by setting a setting-variable to "yes".
I've set up a test user, and tried purchasing, and it seems to work.
- (void)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView didSelectRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath
{
if (![[[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults] stringForKey:@"settings_FULL_VERSION"] isEqualToString:@"yes"])
{
Now tell me a movie where the

I'm trying to run an MBox 2 on this MacBook and getting nowhere so far. I'm also concerned about the lack of FireWire port, but it seems that I could save audio files on the internal HD or a USB HD.

Hi
A friend of mine has offered to sell me his macbook pro and i am considering it. However I know very little and have only had dell laptops in the past.
It is a 13'' duo core 2.4gh ddr3 ram with 320gb . He will also give me mac office. He is asking for 800.
Im wondering if this is worth the money as it is the duo core and my Dell has the i7 technology. To be honest I dont even know what this means. I just want a decent laptop that will not be slow and outdated in a year!
I would be using it for work-im a teacher.
Any advice would be great thanks!!
You could get a brand new 2011 MBP for not much more then that. I would get that.

OK sorted.
Saved the Win 7 'backup' dvd as a crd, changed the extension to iso, and burned another disc.
Used that and all worked fine.
Many thanks for all your help.:):)
